• each course takes 10-12 lessons per month
• most of the lessons are held online
• the teacher checks students' homework and answers their questions
• our support helps students to solve any problems that they might have in the learning process
• this approach distinguishes Laba Group projects from the usual MOOC-courses, where teachers do not check homework and do not give feedback to students
• this approach also allows us to achieve a high average course completion rate (80% of our students compete the course). This is a great result comparing to the standard MOOC-courses indicators, where this rate reaches 10-15% only.

• some of our lecturers are now in Ukrainian cities that are attacked by russian invaders
• a bomb shelter is not the best place to give online classes

• some part of students’ homework is checked by lecturers
• we try to organise online QA sessions with our lecturers

You can leave your name and email before donation. After a Ukrainian refugee chooses a course for your donation, you will receive a letter with the name of the person and the course name that he/she has chosen. If the client chooses to remain anonymous, we will send you the course name only.

In order to launch the «Gift course» program, our company bears the costs, which we hope to cover with the help of your donations. The main costs are divided into three types:

Production and holding of our courses:

• our team salary.
• cutting and editing the courses that were previously held online to create high quality recorded products
• the work of producers and methodologists that prepare the course content
• the work of the Sales department on the refugees verification and selection of relevant courses for them
• the work of the Customer service department that supports students during their courses
• the work of the Marketing department: copywriters, designers, targetologists, PR managers who participate in the launch and support of the «Gift course» advertising campaign
• the work of the IT department that creates and supports the program’s landing pages
• the work of financiers and lawyers who are involved in the work on this project

Production and holding of the courses. Lecturers’ salaries:

• royalty payments to the lecturers of our online courses
• payments for lecturers who hold Q&A sessions for recorded courses
• salaries for lecturers who conduct online courses
• payments to the lecturers who check homework during online and recorded courses

Advertising campaign:

We advertise the “Gift course” program for two core audiences:

• Ukrainian refugees in Europe — so that they could find out about the program, visit our website and choose the online course that suits them best. Targeting - Ukrainians in Europe. The average cost per lead is $1. By «lead» here we consider a person who visited our website and registered for the course as a refugee. We expect to attract 100,000 Ukrainians to this program per month, and expect that at least 30% of them will choose a course for themselves.
• residents of the US and Europe. We count on attracting donations to pay for the courses for Ukrainian refugees. On average, the cost of one lead is $40. By «lead» here we mean a person who made the donation. We expect to attract 200,000 visitors to the «Gift program» landing pages per month. According to our statistics, 3% of them will make a donation.

TOTAL COST

We proceed from the monthly receipt of donations - $100,000.

Within this budget, we can provide courses with support for 5,000 people per month.

The cost of the course will be $20.

In this case, by making a donation of $100 you open the courses for 5 people.

We would like to note that the regular average cost of the recorded Laba beyond the framework of the “Gift course” program is:

• $150 for a recorded course
• $400 for an online course

Expenditure items are distributed as follows:

• 25% – our team salary
• 25% – fees/royalties to lecturers
• 5% – payment for services (CRM, telephony, etc)
• 45% – advertising costs

We will record all donations in the “Report” section. We will publish first report on April 11.

We are launching a large-scale advertising campaign for the “Gift course” program:

• our advertising materials on Instagram and Facebook are targeted at Ukrainians who currently live in European countries
• we will place information about the promotion on our website / landing pages
• we will send a mailout for Laba’s Ukrainian subscribers base (about 300,000 people)
• we work with the media

According to our forecasts, at least 80% of Ukrainian refugees in Europe will know about the “Gift course” program.

We recommend courses that will allow Ukrainian refugees to put the new skills into practice right after the course completion.
